The Careers People have been invited to speak at the HELOA National Conference 2025
We are pleased to have been contacted by HELOA to speak at their National Conference which takes place in January 2025.
Liz will be creating and leading on this talk. The session will discuss how universities can engage with schools to maximise time. With several years experience of working in both state and independent schools, Liz is well placed to share all her learnings from over the years.
The full synopsis of the session is:
Optimising Engagement: How university advisors can avoid wasting time in secondary schools, sixth forms and colleges.
You have spent endless hours stood in cold, draughty school halls waiting for students to come along and engage with you. Only for a bunch of year 7's to come in after the 'freebies'. Time is precious and we need to talk about how we can maximise your engagement and exposure to pre and post 16 students and target those who will benefit the most from the conversation. With many years of experience working in the education system, I can give you some quick wins for optimising your time and engagement.
You can book your place at the conference here. If you are attending and see Liz, please say hello. We are a friendly bunch and love to chat careers!
