The Careers Circle takes a step toward ending loneliness in the Careers Industry

STEP OUT OF YOUR HARRY POTTER CUPBOARDS... The time is now!

We are pleased to announce that The Careers Circle events calendar is now live. Our first weekly event is our virtual coffees. This is open to all Careers Professionals working in any setting. We will discuss our challenges, celebrate our wins and support each other to achieve our mutual aim of supporting our young people in the best way. The virtual coffees commence on Monday 9th September 2024.

The Careers Circle exists to give members an online space share ideas, develop their practice and grow their personal careers. As of September 2024, we have 318 members.

The idea stems from the loneliness reported by Careers Professionals working in education settings across the UK. Careers Professionals often work in silo planning events, providing support and guidance, developing resources and meeting statutory requirements.

We are hugely thankful to UCAS who sponsored the development of the space. UCAS are committed to supporting Careers Professionals, who play such a crucial role in supporting young people to make informed decisions about their future.
