What do our team say?

Elizabeth Lloyd, Careers Advisor

Having been a Careers Advisor in one dedicated school for the last 8 years, I was a little nervous about heading into the world of 'freelancing' and taking a step into this new world. However, after following Jess on LinkedIn for some time, I knew that she would be someone I could work with and that The Careers People would be a great fit for me. From the first moment I met Jess for a coffee and chat, we hit it off right away and the excitement of starting to work for her and TCP started to grow.

Jess is one of those rare individuals who comes up with a plan - and almost instantly sets about to make it happen! She is open to new ideas, plans and growth and as a result you feel part of the bigger picture and planning Careers services.

Although I was nervous about being a freelancer and not 'part of a school team', I have never felt alone or unsupported. As a team, we share ideas, feedback, questions and sometimes some amusing stories with each other on a regular basis and I feel entirely supported and encouraged by Jess and her 'lets make it happen' attitude.

The schools I work in have got to know Jess over the years and know that she provides an exceptional level of service and that the Careers Advisors that she hires, will all be of the highest professionalism and quality. I have built up amazing relationships with my schools and feel very much part of the team, within school as well as the wider Careers People team. "
